TDK tapes, any input?
I was looking for some inexpensive tapes and found a few sellers on Ebay selling Sealed 10-pack units for around $1 each or a bit more including shipping. All made in Japan and brand new. Any input on those tapes?
Cheers. |

they're ok
Been using panasonic tapes, then TDK. Both are good. No issues on Sony cameras.

I used TDK tapes with my old Sony D8 camcorder for over 7 years, never had a problem.

Yes, I too have been using the TDK tapes for about 5 years with no problems. Happy shooting!

They're great if they're the real thing. With eBay, coming from Asia, I'd be careful. Seems risky just to save about a buck a tape compared to genuine Sonys bought domestically from a trusted online retailer.

They were shipped from USA in original US retail ten-pack plastic (hard to open).
Thank you all for replies. This makes me think of purchasing more tapes, can't go wrong at this low price. Cheers. |
