Will Sony ever upgrade the DSR250?

I've had the DSR250 for four years and it's by far the best camera I've ever owned. I'm surprised Sony hasn't announced a successor. Has anyone heard anything?

I am not sure they will replace it. They are now releasing the Z1, which will be in the DSR250 price range. And then you go up to the DSR390, which is a much better camera than the 250 and (camera wise, not recording) probably better than the Z1.

The Z1 is the professional version of the FX1 (HDV) from Sony. It'll be available from February.
