TRV11 won't zoom
My Sony DCR-TRV11 handycam won't zoom in or out anymore. Nothing happens when I use the zoom control, no zoom display is shown on the LCD screeen. Worst of all, the picture seems to be stuck in mid-zoom (not all the way out, not all the way in).
Does anybody know what may of happened or how I can fix this? |

If you're not getting any feedback on the screen about zooming, it sounds to me like the zoom rocker switch is bad. If you were seeing graphics popping up but not getting any zoom action, then I'd suggest that the zoom motor is shot.
Sorry to say it might be time for a trip to the dealer or repair shop. Good luck and let us know what the problem was. We're all about learning here.
