LCD-DVD-fields?
I'm about to make a DVD production to be shown _only_ with LCD projectors.
Should I use interlaced video or not? Are there any special benefits in using or not using fields with this setting? |

hi Korpijäärä,
we are almost neighbours considering the geographical size of this forum;) i think, if you can stay in progressive mode from shooting to playout, it's definently better in quality (by one classic interlacing is basically the same as additional 2:1 compression), otherwise it does'nt matter. When using video input of projector, you will feed interlaced signal anyway. regards, Margus |
