Camera Support

This was shot with some handheld (interiors), Steadicam (body rig) (exteriors), Stanton Jib Lite with a remote head (interiors) and and that's it! No sticks.

James

Thanks for sharing your work with us. I think it looks great. I like all the movement.

When you say the "3:1" lens are you referring to the the Canon 3x wide angle or a .3 adaptor? Several of your shots seem to have a lot of distortion around the edges...is this just due to the lens, or did you apply some effect in premiere?

Lens and effects

The 3:1 is the stock Canon lens. The distortion was created in Premiere with the sphere filter. It really brings the walls out in the alley scenes, especially in the actual DV copy.

Very nice work James!

Hopefully i will have a short 30 sec piece of my current production to show in about 3 hours when AFX stops rendering :) A bit different music style though.

Watching your video makes me wanna go out and get a JiB :)

streaming links are valid

You must cut and paste these into your browser. Also, there have been issues with SOME Mac users because of the Windows Media player.

Ok...I viewed it at home now (it wasn't connecting at work for some reason). Not too shabby, however I thought that it might have had a little too much camera movement (I was getting a little dizzy...or I just could be tired...) . Very nice though.
