Pelican Padded Dividers

The foam in Pelican cases tends to get foam dust on equipment. I'm thinking of purchasing a padded divider set instead for my 1650. Do people like their padded dividers? Does it provide adequate protection and enough options for a custom fit?

How old are your foam pads? Pelican recommends replacing them every few years. I don't have the dividers but believe it is exactly the same foam from my fingering of them at a store.

Probably a direct contact with Pelican would answer your question with regard to how to prevent the dust.
