Links to companies that do video to 35 mm film transfers?

Hey all,

If anyone has some links to companies that transfer DV to 35 mm film, please post them up! I'm doing research for my next film!

So far, I've found:

DVFilm

Swiss Effects

Any recommendations/criticisms of these and other transfer-to-film houses would be greatly appreciated!

THANKS!

That one is in Vancouver, and they have said they get as good quality from NTSC transfers as PAL. I've heard they aren't cheap but are very good. I've seen some good stuff from DuArt in N.Y.

Here are two more:

This site's nice.

I hear this one rocks, but the site's very bland.

Also, Bill, the link you sent worked but had very little in it...

Yeah, not much info on their site. They want you to call. They're expensive but do excellent work, from what I've read. I haven't seen anything in person.
I used to use Filmcraft in Detroit for some low budget transfers to 16mm. They do 35mm too and are cheaper than lots of places, as well as good to work with. The process they use won't give you as good a quality as the pricier places, but if you're on a budget, you might do a test with them. All of the labs will do a test for you for a very low price, and if you do your work there, they deduct that money from your final cost.
