Royalty Free Music
Hi,
Does anyone know of any sites, or places to get music, or from music artists willing to give rights to songs for their promotional use for our DVD's?

I have had some limited success approaching local (San Diego in my case) rock bands for use in a few of my productions. But I am careful to get the proper releases from them.
I have used www.musicbakery.com for more "traditional" and corporate sounding stuff. |

try: www.sounddogs.com
I think a lot of the royalty music producers including music bakery sell their stuff there. Also try www.smartsound.com |

Read their terms of use carefully but by far the most comprehensive collection I have found that is free to use for most of us can be found at Freeplaymusic.com
Over time I have downloaded all their selections and burned a DVD of the entire collection. Sean McHenry
