MiniDV playback quality
I'm using a JVC GR-D70 to capture my miniDV footage that was shot using a DVX100 on to my NLE(FCP). My question is, i'm I losing quality or res when using the JVC as a playback/capture device?

All MiniDV is the same resolution, 720x480. The cameras are just writing data then reading data, just like if it was on a hard drive, CD, or DVD media. The MiniDV tape is just a large, reusable storage device.
