CCD/Film diagram

Does anyone know where I can find a diagram showing the sizes of common Video CCD's and film formats. Showing what their actual dimensions are.

I am not sure what you mean by that. In fact, I have no idea what you are asking.

CCD is video terminology, and film frame sizes are, well, film.

Apple and Oranges.

this has come several times recently. If you search "chip sizes" you'll see several threads with information. This is the list your looking for I believe.

Thanks guys. I was really looking for a diagram of actual size boxes inside other boxes starting with 35mm still film, then 35mm motion film, 16mm, 2/3", 1/2", super8mm, 1/3" and 1/4". Just to give myself an idea of how one is bigger then another.

I really don't understand all size relations. Like is the 16mm film format bigger then a 1/2" CCD? Is super 8mm bigger then a 1/4" CCD, ect.

I thought I had already seen something like this somewhere on the net but maybe not. Perhaps based off the information you've lead me to I can photoshop something together.

I think I've seen it as well, Mike. Just not sure when and where.
