I'm planning on such a thing. And I've seen several movies from
members here who either had a logo or just a name.

I have a short animation I put at the end of my videos. I don't feel I'm important enough yet, to put it at the beginning. Of course, I've watched movies, where the first several minutes are filled with nothing but logos and animations... over and over. They won't let you forget who did it. 20th Century is really bad, and so is Universal.
Of course, I really hate it when you can't even skip over it.

I put a "logo" at the beginning...although I really want to get in to AE and improve the logo. Right now it is just basic text.

Yeah, lgoos are fine as long as their professional... so many movies use childish names and logos that look like they were designed in Xara... keep it simple and use something original, or else it's usually just a waste of time.

It's a nice boost to confidence in your production when you have a indentifier for your production company at the beginning of any project. Besides, you never know whose hands your project might end up in, so you want to make sure your company's name is seen.
