zr20 replacement
What would be a good upgrade to my aging zr20 camcorder, not too expensive, good in dim light, small, and all the bells and whistles? I want at least a one quarter inch ccd or larger.

I'm keeping an eye open when that new Sharp VL-Z800U hits the shelves. In Japan, it hit the shelves during Feb.

I did not know that Sharp made dv camcorders. Do you know of any reliable Sharp dealers I should contact for information including the price? What makes you interested in this model? Thank you for your patience.

I'm trying to find more information about it. One of our members in Japan is going to have a good look at one. It's a small, inexpensive, 1/4" CCD cam that's feature rich including decent widescreen. Here's a thread I started about the Sharp VL-Z800U:

Get the PD150 if you want a good qulaity cam. Nothing really beats it !
