Autocue using 7" LCD Monitor and laptop
Just wondering if it is possible to make an autocue using a spare 7" 480 x 234 LCD monitor (Datavideo Technologies Co. TLM-700 7” 16:9 Wide Screen TFT Monitor) and a laptop.
I don't have a composite/s-video output on my laptop but i think you can get a vga-composite lead that might work. Any thoughts Alex |

if the monitor has vga input it should work , but at this size, it will be hard to read at more the few feet. Better to use the LCD of the laptop.
For my portable prompter i found a 10.4" LCD that has video/pc input at 800x600 pixels. price is 150$ on ebay. i link to the laptop using a wireless USB to VGA adapter. it is very nice since you can make one person to manage the PC, one person to manage the camera and have no wire in between. |
