Color Correction

A portion of the footage for my documentary was shot with an XH-A1, and I've noticed it has an overall yellowish hue to it. It definitely doesn't look as good as what was shot with the Sony Z7u. Is that something I'll be able to fix with color correction?

Sure you can.
In the future, if you shoot a little chart before each scene with each of the cameras it will be much easier to correct in post.

Good Luck!

If you are using Final Cut Pro, there's a little tutorial on fixing white balance in the manual in the section on color correction

If needed, I've read on here a program at neatvideo.com works great. I've never used it though it looks pretty easy to use.

Red Giant has some really good color correction plugins. They have full featured trial versions you can download to see if they work for you.

And just to chime in ... I've been raving to others about just how good the auto white balance on the V1 is. Absolutely brilliant!
