New Lacie 250GB drive is showing 9.9mb of space
Just received new Lacie HD from client and when I formatted and tried to transfer it said not enough space.
Brand new 250 gig is showing 9.9mb of space. What's up. |

So why are you asking for this in the EX forum and it would help if you'd mention what (OS) you were connecting the LaCie to...
I have only seen this on defective drives; but you may be doing something wrong. If the disk is brand new use Disk Managment (Windows) or Disk Utility (Mac) to verify the partition sizes and layout.
