DV capture software like HDVSplit at DVinfo.net

I have CS3 on two machines, but I'd like to capture DV video using two other machines and free the CS3 systems for other work.

I did some searching here and elsewhere for a tool like HDVSplit that will capture and split scenes but for standard def DV, but I couldn't find anything. Does anyone know of any freeware or low cost software that will do this? It's imperative that the software be capable of scene detection.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.
