HDVSplit
Hi
As my editing program doesn't support split by scene on HDV video I am looking into a program called HDVSplit. Is anyone using this utility for capturing HDV? Any other ones around to look? Stelios

HDV split will capture as M2T files, so you just need to make sure that your NLE will import them. Since it's free, there is no problem trying it out. If your NLE won't import the M2T files, you can demux them using VLC, another free program. As Chris said, HDV split works perfectly & i would definately recommend it.

I read positive reviews and wanted to try out the scene splitting feature since CS3 doesn't do that. Unfortunately, I kept getting drop outs in each scene. Recaptured in premiere and it was fine. No more HDV split for me but it's obviously working great for others.
