Rubber peice

Hey guys I need to know where to get that rubber peice that goes on the front of your camera lense. Like the GL2 has and the XL1 and those. Thanks.

That's called a lens hood. Replacements should be directly available from Canon at 1-800-OK-CANON. Hope this helps,

Yeah. See my camera didnt come with one of them. I just wanted to know if I could buy one from somewhere to put on my camera that currently does not have one and never camer with one. Its the Canon ZR60 if it helps.

that model never came with one, or just your camera?

check ebay if it's just your exact one that is missing.. people sell lens caps and batteries and lens hoods all the time on ebay.

if the ZR60 never had one when it left the canon factory, only possibility is maybe find another camer that does have one with a similar sized lens, and adapt that piece to fit

Yeah the ZR60 never came with one because, it wasnt supposedto. Ill check around and see what I can find.
