Whitebalance + filter thread!
HI guys....sorry if this sounds noobish.... When doing a whitebalance should any filters be on the lens or no?

Depends on what filters they are. Skylight, UV, polarizers and ND filters should have no effect.
But if you're trying to get a certain effect (like a blue tint or a sunset filter or something) then those should definitely be removed before doing your white-balance. |
