Vintage stock footage
I'm working on a documentary in which I need small amounts of file of world war one and two, the depression, newstands from the 1930's, people from the same era, and people from the 1950's among other things. Most of the footage doesn't need to be element specific. So here's my question: Anyone know of where I can get this footage for a low price? I figure because I can use pretty generic shots, and the fact much of the footage will possibly in public domain, that I could aquire it for much less than from standard stock footage companys. library of congress, or some other institution, perhaps?
Thanks for the advice. |
