Wireless "Spy" Cam - Size of a Dime
Hey everyone.
Was killing time searching the net for a r/c car and found a tank with a mini wireless "spy" cam that came with it (I was board here at work!). It has 380 lines of rez with a real time transmission of somewhere around 150 feet + Thought this thing was pretty cool and wondered if anyone has seen one of these, seen the quality and what not. I figured it was cheep enough to buy and find out but figured I should ask first. Thanks - AR |

Go to ebay and search for wireless camera.
There are a lot and they are fairly cheep. I was thinking stick one on a small smooth wheeled R/C car and see what kind of footage you get. |

Some are better than others. Pay attention to the transmission methods. I tried one several years ago and found that its wireless reception (900 MHz) was -very- dicey even at short distances.
I very much doubt that it would work well inside of something in motion such as a r/c car or plane.

With this development, it won't be long before all dimes are spy cameras.
