Question about rear zoom control
I just ordered a jvc dv5000 and am looking at the accessories for it. So here's a few questions i've run in to. I see this item http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...u=26003&is=REG is used to control rear zoom. My question is, are there any cheaper devices that will work with this camera? Or is this prett ymuch the only option. Also I was curious if this mounts on the tripod handles like the pro-sumer zoom controls do or does this mount somewhere else?
The picture is a bit confusing and I just can't wrap my head around how you would connect that to a tripod handle. But I could be way off. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. |

Hi Mike,
Is this for a Fujinon lens or a Canon lens? Here are a variety of lower-priced alternatives from VariZoom Lens Controls: http://www.varizoom.com/pages/canon.php http://www.varizoom.com/pages/fujinon.php I prefer the "PG" pistol-grip series; you might choose another type. Hope this helps, |
