where to find map graphics??? at DVinfo.net

hello.

i do travelog's, nothing "professional" but i need some decent quality images of maps, sometimes i just need one state but more often i need either the whole country or an area like new england.

where can i get a good source for these? there must be a cd-rom out there somewhere i can buy for less then $500??

i found a few sites selling maps but they want more for the use of one map than i would expect to pay for a whole cd!
