Remote control of f-stop and shutter spd?
As i stated in the previous thread, i am monitoring 3 canon cameras, (2) xl1s and (1) gl-2 via s-video and rca connected to 13" TVs in the control room. Is there a way for the shot director to adjust the f-stop and shutter speed remotely, to keep all three cameras balance?
Thanx Trig

You might be able to remotely control the cameras through the LANC port. I unfortunately don't know how to do this.
2- Why not S-Video to transmit the video? All you need is to solder or buy some adapters. Soldering them is pretty easy if you know how to solder. |

s-video/rca
Glen, I am using s-video, converting it along the way to rca to fit the cheap ($69.00) TV's rca input. Works great and can run 200 feet with no problem and not big costs. Just finished the show tonight, went great. The director (my 17 yr old son) called the shots and kept us light balanced. It would be great if he could control the brightness of all three cameras.
Thanx Trig
