premiere 6.5 vs OEM type of bundle...help at DVinfo.net

I don't understand...adobe premiere alone cost $500, but if you buy it bundled with a DV PCI card for $250 you get the card plus the adobe premiere 6.5...am I missing something? Is there a difference in the two versions???

Actually that's a fairly common marketing tactic, Lisa. Adobe constantly partners with hardware manufacturers, and they usually strike pretty good deals with their software bundles. Even if you don't need the editing card, it's a good way to go and it sure beats paying full retail for the software. Check with the vendor to determine that these are full versions that are up-to-date. Hope this helps,
