Which player do I need?
Hello - newbie here.
I viewed a concert podcast on my Windows XP machine a few days ago. Afterward, I fished the data file out of the IE cache for later viewing in case the concert is pulled from the website. I find I don't have a player that will play this file off-line. It's file extension is .DAT. I have Windows Media Player, Real Player, Quicktime, an FLV off-line player, Dell Movie Studio, and Magix Movie Edit Pro 11 - none of them can figure it out. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks, Steve Lowens |

That's just a cache file, not the actual video file. You will likely have to go back to the website and download it directly.

Or use something like Camtasia to capture it as video.
