Playback Noise-JVC Mini Dv
I recently got a new JVC Mini Dv GR-D850U...it seems to be a problem with the playback...there is a hissing background noise all the time and would get louder as the volume is turned up...I'm not sure if this is normal with Mini Dv...I have used different types of tapes but same problem...Could someone please advise...
Just a thought: Is there a recording microphone on these unit that can be adjusted?...maybe lower.... Thanks. |

No -, not normal with MiniDV at all. Can yopu try the tapes in another camera or VCR to ss if the noise is still there?
I suspect there's a fault with your JVC's record amps. I don't know the D850 but your instruction book will tell you if the menu allows mic adjustment - but I suspect not. You might have to return it under warrenty. tom. |
