Looking for a way to run/charge both a laptop and hv20 when no AC around?
I am taking a trip in the next few weeks where I am going to need both my laptop and hv20. When the battery runs out on both I am going to need a way to use them - is there a universal battery or something that will work for both? I am on a bus for 20 hours, so the battery will need to be good for at least 4 of those hours...
Thanks |

Hi Delaney
I use an Everon 12V 12Ah AGM sealed battery to power up my Cam and 8" Monitor. I Can't say for how long, as I've never run it out, doing sporatic shooting at an all day horse show. It's about 4" X 4" X 6" and I carry it in a camerabag. It's also not lite, about 10 lbs ? Great for stablizing my Tri-Pod. I also have two smaller battery units. If you can determine how much Ah Hours your equipment pulls, then you can get an idea of how much battery you need, for whatever time you need to cover. Then just buy the battery size you need. I got mine at a local Batteries Plus store. Harold |

Hi David,
As long as you have an DC adaptor for your computer (like to use in your car), it should. Same goes for the Cam. I just use a dual DC Plug-in unit attached to the battery. Harold |

Battery plus always seemed expensive to me- I hope I can find one online. Thanks for the suggestion.
