HD-SDI Cable Length
What is the maximum length that HD-SDI Cable can be run? Would a 500ft run be fine or would it loose too much signal?
Sorry if this is in the wrong catagory |

It depends on type of signal and wire gauge.

300 ft is the general rule. Though sometimes I get a week signal that won't make it that far. A reclocking DA has saved me a few times on longer runs - 500 ft.
