I need help with ccd vx3

Hello,
I have a older camcorder now but hopefully will get a new one. I was wondering if any body has any info on it and could help me fix the problem
When i shoot video I get a lot of noise. In auto and manual. Please and thank you.

The VX3 is so old that it could be anything. It might be a chip or chips, electronic circuit or the tape mechanism. It could be a board assembly. there's really no way to tell and honestly the camera is so old and out dated IMO it really isn't worth putting any money into to find out or fix it.
Just my thoughts.
I don't mean to sound negative but truth be told it would probably cost almost as much as getting preowned more modern camera.

I sure wouldn't spend another dime on repairs. That money would be much better spent on a newer camera. Of course it could be settings. Read the manual. If you can turn off gain, try that. If you can't get it working acceptably to you, sell it as-is and get a digital camcorder.
