Music video effect
Hi, Im just wondering how this video was shot..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Xh0R...eature=related I know that a lot of music videos are shot at high frame rates then slowed down to give that dreamy quality. But what is the deal with this one, how is that sort of stuttery fast paced feel achieved? Is it just a high shutter speed or something else? cheers :) |

Appears to have been shot with the talent performing the song at a slower speed, which is then sped up in post to match the correct rate. Creates a stuttered look.

Thx, that makes sense. Can't belive i didnt even think of that, Im an idiot!
So how much do you think it is sped up? 12 fps? And do you think that could be best achieved by actually undercranking (camera permitting) or by just speeding up in editing/post? cheers |
