Sony DXC 537a with Capture to disk
Hello is there any way possible to use my old 537a camera head so that I can eliminate tape altogether and use a hard disk device that is activated via firewire? I was looking at the Firestore FS-4 device. Perhaps there is a back available or adapter than can allow this. I have used the camera with Betacam, Hi8 and DVcam configurations with no problems but I really prefer to put a hard drive or flash memory to this. Thanks

Maybe the nNovia A2D2 would fit your purpose? It has analogue inputs, composite and Y/C and also has firewire input/output.
There's also FFV devices that may be suitable. B |
