80s Look
Hey does anybody know how to shoot a video to like like it was made in the 80s
This is a video of snoop doggs new song sensual seduction and its show in 80s style. The clothes and what not i know but i was wondering if there is a certain way to light or what kind of filter should i use. The 'greenish' video is actually an old 80's camera - used to belong to a DVinfo'er. :) Search on this board for sensual seduction, there's a thread about it somewhere :)

http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...lorinda+norton It is nearly impossible to duplicate the look of old tube cameras with a modern camera; the way they render color and detail and their smeary effect with highlights is a pretty complicated cocktail. Besides, it's more fun to dig up old cameras of the era, they can be had for a song on eBay! They also used star filters on that video; a 4-point is a good place to start (makes an x or a plus sign appearance around lights). And heavy period diffusion like a Harrison and Harrison double fog filter will add to the 70's look.
