Can Digital8 sony cam play back 8mm tape? (not Hi8)
I need to capture 8mm tapes to our system, and I can get hold of a sony Digital8 cam which will play back Hi8 as well but I dont know if it will play back normal 8mm tapes. Look forward to any replies. Kinda need a quick responce so many thanks in advance. PS, we have a MiniDV deck with most types of analogue input.

I believe it should play back 8mm. Old stuff support is the only rationale to get D8 camera, so I almost sure they do.
However I do not have personal D8 experience. |
