What are some good professional lens repair shops in NYC?
I recently bought a set of Lomo lenses for my Redrock and one of them has a non-working iris. I have no clue what a good place to take my lens to is since the only stuff I've ever had to have repaired I could send to a certified service center or for warranty stuff!
So, does anyone know of some good repair shops in NYC where I could take my lens? *Also, sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this in. I couldn't figure where I should ask this question on the board and this section seemed the closest fit. |

I'd try Abel CineTech, they might work on them or give you a good name.

They did all the work on my Eclair 16mm & 35mm gear back when I owned it and always did a good job.
But also remember you can ship a lens anywhere in the US in a day, and there are a number of well respected optics houses across the US. So you don't need to limit yourself to NYC. At the moment my Zeiss primes are in Tarzana California getting new follow focus gears. |
