new sony hd
So, I hear there is a new sony cam coming in decmber. It is model hvr1000u. I hear it will sell for about 1900. what are your comments about this cam? has anyone seen a demo or know if there is a link to show its capabilities? I curious to see if it worth buying when I dump my XL1s

http://bssc.sel.sony.com/Broadcastan...products.shtml This page has the info you may need. It is basically a shoulder mount version of the HC7. More for the Pro look than real performance!!!!! Has some advantages over the HC7 like center crop to DV conversion and a nice big control ring on the lens.
