grainy skin appearance
After going through and editing my mini dv tapes I noticed that on many of the tapes the skin on people had a grainy haze while the other parts of the picture looked fine. This is on tapes that were filmed with a one chip and a three chip camcorder. I thought maybe the camcorder and tried it on the other camcorder and the same result happened. It's possible both need cleaning but I thought if a digital camcorder was dirty that the whole picture would be noticably distorted.
Has anyone had this problem? Thank you, Tony |

Not sure exactly what you mean, Tony. Do you have someplace where you can post some stills exemplifying this graininess?
