super collapsible chromakey background
I've just bought a super collapsible green screen off e-bay (size 8"x8" with 8" of train). Does anyone have any experience of these? It came in a case with Botero written on the side. It is supposed to be self supporting by its outer frame and can be propped up against a wall, but I can't for the life of me get the frame to be rigid enough for it to stand. It just collapses with its own weight. I expected the green material to cover the whole of the frame so that when the frame is pulled out the material becomes tight. However, the material has a slit in it covering its entire width so I can't see that it would ever become tight or the frame snap rigid. Is this normal? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I got a Photoflex kit from B&H that was similar to what you are talking about. But it was a kit so it included a stand with a 'boom arm' to hang the collapsible green screen from. Total cost of the kit was $254.....great deal if you ask me.
