Need to buy HD miniDV camera in days, need help!
Hi guys, i have to get a HD minidv camera in a few days and i dont have time to do all my research... looking to spend 1000-1500 on it.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

you cant go wrong with a canon hv-10 or hv-20.

Ditto on HV20, though if you want to have hard drive capture, HG10 might be in order.

Sony HC7 or Canon HV20. Personally prefer the Sony, but the HV20 is a good choice too. Either cam should get you "in budget" even with some accessories.
If for some reason you decide to go tapeless, both these cams had Hard disk and card based siblings... |
