Large Form DV Tape & Recording
I am going to be needing to work on a long form live event where in the past I was swaping out 1hr (Mini DV) tapes at some point to keep catching all the action. The GY-DV5000 I have now will accept the full size DV tapes that can record from 96-187 minutes. Has anyone had any issues using these larger tapes including the non stop recording time?
Thanks, Robert |

use them all the time for seminars - never had a problem with them. Actually I have used the 276s made by Panasonic (until they stopped making them) and they were the cat's meow. 4 1/2 hours non stop recording. Sweet!

I use them with my DSR-11 without any problems (in DV and DVCAM modes).
