VX2100 or GL2?
I'm looking at two B&H Kits, but i'm not sure which one to choose. I have $2500 to spend and these both caught my attention. After a little research I learned of the known problem the GL2 has with the tape mechanism, but still have read and seen good things about it. With the VX2100 I haven't ran across anything that is a known problem, if there is please point it out for me. I currently own a TRV900 that is only able to capture using a notebook PC, and well its time for an upgrade. So what do you think of these two choices? Myself I'm leaning towards the VX2100 right now but I'd like some input on the GL2 since it is less expensive.
With both the four year extended warranty was just a one up on both. Anyone had experience with them? http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc..._CCD_Mini.html http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...2_Mini_DV.html |

As a very satisfied user and still owner of VX2100 and former user of GL2, I'd go for the VX2100. VX is better in low light and handles roughly the same balance-wise as the GL...
my $.02

I'd recommend the VX2100. I have a VX2000 and it allows a lot more control over the color/saturation etc of the image than my friend's GL2 allows.
