bad dv tape solution?
Has anyone else heard if you fast forward a new mini dv tape to the end then rewind it all the way before recording that it will prevent any distortion on the tape that happens once in awhile? I have only had 2 bad tapes out of about 175 and that is using sony premium everytime. A camcorder tech told me this will get rid of any chemicals on the tape.
thanks, Tony |

A quick search showed a couple of threads that might help. Take a look at this and this. I hope this helps.
