I'd try the usual outlets online - Amazon, Barnes and Nobel, and the like. If you want to rent one before you buy it, maybe try Smart Flix dot com.

Try izzyvideo.com. Fairly basic, but there's some good stuff in there for beginners. And the examples he uses are very visual, which helps a ton. You can see the difference between the right way and the wrong way. And you can't argue with free.

2- Are there any specific topics you're interested in? If you let the folks on this board know, they can help zero in on particular titles that are of the most interest to you.

There is also lots of knowledge on this site... in particular, the stickied threads tend to contain good information. Though it's not necessarily comprehensive information... it's good to have a mix of learning from professionals (learn the ropes from one), from training materials, and from boards like this.

We do alot of low light filming of wildlife we have a gl2, xl1s and a cannon xh a1. we are ll self taught would love to have some pointers from the pros on this board
