Making a SVCD
I have just finished a small clip with my DVX100 edited it in Premiere 6.5 then Adobe Mpeg Encoder, SVCD format, then used Nero to burn to a CD. The problem is that the cd plays using Windows Media 9 in my cd drive but not in my DVD drive.
Any advise please. Andrew from Bangkok |

ur dvd player may not be SVCD compatible...
also, Nero sometimes plays havoc with the file system of teh burn... to check compatibility, go here www.vcdhelp.com they have a database of DVD players. |

You did create it in NERO as A SVCD disc, right? The change might
very well be that your DVD player indeed doesn't support SVCD (or you have to hit the play button for it to start). Not all players support it. If it doesn't you must either go down to VCD or up to DVD.
