Subtitle workshop, titles that work with editing
I have some material titled in a free software called subtitle workshop.
Once I'm done, the software can export the title in pretty much all available formats. The thing is, I am to use my titled material in an editing suite like Premiere, How do I merge the titles with the .avi, is there a software for it? or even better would be to perhaps import the titles in premiere but i havent been able to figure that out. All input appreciated.

You can export the subtitles as MAC DVD Studio Pro. This file can be imported in DVD Architect as a subtitle track (so if you are planing to make a DVD out of this, I think this would be the best idea). I made this and looks cool, and still have the option of turning the subtitles off.
Hope it helps (otherwise there are a bunch of programs, none that I know of as good quality ones, but google avi subtitle merge) |
