Converting PAL to NTSC
I searched for this topic and couldn't find any specific info. I've got some PAL format miniDV video tapes that I need to upload into my computer so that I can convert it to NTSC. Does anyone know if an NTSC camcorder will be able to upload the data off the tapes via firewire into my computer?
Or do I need a PAL camcorder to do it? It seems like 0's and 1's ought to transfer.... After I get it on my computer, I'll obviously have to use some software like Atlantis to convert it...I just want to know what I need to do to get it on my computer. thanks in advance. |

I know that around here you can rent PAL cams and decks. Just a thought.

Just saw this yesterday, but it converts to film motion so I don't know if this is the one you are looking for or not, but here is the link.
