Canopus conversion wanted

Hello,

Has anyone had experience converting HVD 60i to HDV 50i for a pal MPEG 2 DVD. I have a short film shot using the canon h1’s 60i frame rate. But I’m in pal land and need it converted to 50i without to much jumping or a slow motion look.

I have heard that Canopus is the way to go but I use pp2 with Matrox RT.x2. I have read that Canopus can give a good 24p look. Any information would help. If anyone has had experience with this type of thing and is willing to do the conversation I would greatly appreciate it. Of course I’m willing to pay for the service.

Thanks.
