Need advice on Dual AMD MP set up

Has anyone used the Dual AMD MP 1.0 Ghtz mother board set up? What do you like about it and don't? Does it render projects faster than a AMD 2400XP +?

Need advice.

I'm using a Tyan s2460 with dual AMD 1.2 Gig Athlons on one of my older workstations. My newest system to compare against is an ASUS P4PE with a 3.06 Gig Northwood. The single Pentium 4 beats the pants off of that AMD. The AMD rig runs hot and the case has extra fans to keep it running. The fans make enough noise to be distracting. On the plus side, that AMD rig is a real workhorse. Nothing can stop it, multitasking rolls off its back like water offa duck. It's dependable and reliable....like I said...still a workhorse. When it comes to renders, I always do all my renders on the P4 rig. In an independent test of renderspeed, for a test clip of about 5 seconds of video with a high degree of rendering, the P4 scored 1:35 secs, the AMD scored 2:35.
