avi with no video on playback at DVinfo.net

Hi I have an issue with all Avi's in that I can hear sound but just get a black screen. Here is the info of the file:

Please provide more information.

What are your PC specs?
Where are you viewing the files?
Does it work with any other programs?
What format is the AVI?
How was the AVI created/ where did it come from?
....
