Any thoughts on the Panasonic AG-DV2000?
Thinking about purchasing this device.
ANY positive or negative comments on this device will be greatly appreciated. Plan on using it extensively transferring DV to and from computer via IEEE 1394 card. Using Vegas Video 4.0 as software (for editing and capturing). Computer is a Dell Workstation Pentium III 733 1 GB DDRAM 2 internal and 1 external HDD (all 7200 rpm) SIIG IEEE 1394 card Matrox G400 video card Regards, Ted

I think it's a great deck. Works just fine with Vegas. Mine has been used with EditDV/Cinestream and Vegas for the past 3 years. I also like the multiple inputs and outputs. You can use it as a convertor to go from VHS to firewire.
